James Iandoli has provided an important service by posting this short video report. I especially appreciate his information and analysis because I was one of the three core CE-5 Initiative Working Group Coordinators operating in the Western USA from 1992 through 1997. The other two, Shari Adamiak (Denver)and Wayne Peterson (Phoenix) are now deceased. The team concept was very important back then because of the challenging conditions in which we worked.
Our groups were under surveillance by what appeared to be intelligence officers of the US Executive Branch. This was both in the field and on the telephone. I am pleased that James pointed out that the CSETI Director’s initial outreach to the military and intelligence community was an attempt to prevent interference with our contact efforts. I suspect, however, that private intelligence contractors may have also been involved in monitoring us, especially during the rare cases of frank harassment.
I believe that this persistent menace played a role in shaping the CSETI Director’s relationship with Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) whose Commander Will Miller became Dr Greer’s “military advisor” for over 20 years. Steven Greer’s relationship with the CIA, dates back to the early 1990s and in my opinion created a host of negative consequences. These include supplying him with unverifiable information spun into unsubstantiated conspiracy theories that have plagued his public comments for decades.
UFO researcher Grant Cameron in his 2017 book “Managing Magic” characterized Dr. Greer as one of several “UFO Messiahs” and in that role he became an outlet for some accurate information as well as disinformation. Dr. Greer was preceded by other “Messiahs.” According to Grant Cameron these included researcher Bill Moore in the 1980s. More recently Tom Delonge has taken the part. All of these prominent researchers were provided with “advisors” who according to Grant Cameron courted them with appeals to their excessive pride. For a full examination of these intelligence operations, Grant Cameron’s book “Managing Magic” and numerous YouTube presentations on this topic are essential to review carefully.
In thinking about the remarkable career of the CSETI Director, he became in many ways an “agent of influence” working for both the Executive Branch Intelligence Services (CIA, ONI) and flying saucer intelligences. His direct relationship with “UFO Central Intelligence” was repeatedly demonstrated by his ability to request sightings with multiple witnesses present. The results were undeniable appearances of anomalous nocturnal lights and “structured craft” that were clearly not conventional aircraft.
Despite his close working relationship with intelligence officials, in my opinion, his stronger sympathies were then, and presumably still are, with a “higher intelligence agency,” the alleged ETs. This working relationship, however, may not be sufficient to provide clear leadership for the international network of volunteer contact workers that I call “the Contact Underground.” Steven Greer MD continuously promotes some of the most outlandish notions with no reasonable substantiation. I believe that he is being fed disinformation by his handlers in the Executive Branch intelligence community. When it comes to what I call Human Initiated Contact Events (aka CE-5s) Dr. Greer’s contributions are of historic importance. James Iandoli’s video gave me a chance to revisit those heady early days of my work as a volunteer contact activist.
