Parable: a fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle
Joseph Burkes MD 2019
Some of the most popular science fiction TV shows portray heroes working for a great cause while being led by a nearly omniscient non-human intelligence. In both “Person of Interest” (on Amazon Prime Freevee in the US) and “Travelers” (available on Netflix) artificial intelligences working with humans attempt to set the world right against incredible odds. I wonder whether these entertaining programs are analogous to what is happening in the realm of flying saucers.
Both UFO witnesses and those that are identified as contact experiencers often display a strong sense of mission, as do the fictional heroes in these two mentioned TV dramas. At the current time, this missionary attitude has encouraged experiencers to tell their stories of encounters. They continue to do so, despite being subjected to ridicule. It is my hope that contact experiencers and their supporters will eventually realize that fundamental progressive change must occur in society if we are ever going to meet the so-called aliens on a more equal basis. I am talking about establishing world peace based on social and environmental justice. This can only be accomplished via a radical spiritual transformation of humanity’s collective consciousness.
The Buddha, according to the writings of his followers, called this plane of existence “the nightmare of the day.” Societies ruled by greed and violence in which the powerful control and exploit the masses of people cannot endure in my judgment. As a pro-contact activist and former volunteer in many social movements of the 1960s, 70s and 80s, I sense there is a link between what are called flying saucers and possible solutions to the seemingly insurmountable problems that humanity is facing. I suspect that planetary unity based on peace and social justice might just be the ticket to join the “big kids” in the universe that are appearing in our skies, in our minds, and for those of us that welcome them, also in our hearts.
They say that what we see in most movies is likely true. Especially when we don’t receive the proper disclosure. The cabal beings believe heavily in karma so they must give us a “soft disclosure” so to speak in movies and tv shows.
I’m going to look into the shows you mentioned. Travelers sounds interesting.
