Joseph Burkes MD 2023
Many UFO researchers, contact experiencers, and members of the public recognize the historic importance of the testimony given at the recent House of Representatives hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Now is the time to turn excitement into action! I urge you to write your Congressional Representatives.
I have provided a sample letter.
Please take not that if you are registered as an independent or are in the same political camp as your Congressperson, mentioning this status in your email can be helpful. This is because as all politicians are eager to get support from within their base or from independents.
At the end of the letter, it is customary to thank your Congressional Representative for taking the time to consider your request.
This link will allow you to access the name of your Congressperson via your zip code/land address.

Sample email is provided below. Please feel free to modify it.
Dear Ms. /Mr./ Mrs.
I am a registered _____ and viewed the US House of Representatives’ Hearing on UAP held on July 26, 2023. Media reports indicate that a proposal has been made to create a Select Congressional Committee to investigate the claims of the witnesses who presented testimony at the House UAP Hearing. It is my understanding that such a Select Committee could have subpoena power to place hostile witnesses under oath and compel them to testify about their knowledge of possible UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering projects.
Furthermore, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in my opinion has not done an adequate job. How are they supposed to obtain UAP witness reports when more than a year after being established, they don’t even have a web site to receive testimony from US military personnel?
It is no wonder given such negligence that whistleblower David Grusch had to give his testimony directly to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IGIC) who deemed his complaint credible and urgent and referred his complaint to the Congress.
I urge you speak out on these important issues and to support the establishment of House Select Committee to investigate the Executive Branch’s lack of transparency on UAP. Furthermore, I request that you find out why AARO is not doing its job. If they are not fulfilling their mandate from Congress and the American people, then corrective action should be taken.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this issue.
Sincerely
NAME
