In a recent text exchange with a fellow contact experiencer, I was asked, “The looming question is: what’s the benefit of Disclosure? Thoughts on that?”

Benefits of Disclosure? Here are my thoughts. On an individual level, an end to the worldwide de facto policy of ridicule and denial will be a vindication for every witness who has been chastised for simply describing what happened to them personally. Disclosure would mean an end to the massive campaign of lies and half-truths coming out of the mouths of the so-called “authorities” who have maintained a UFO truth embargo for over three quarters of a century.
On the societal level, the potential benefits will be even more profound. My concern is that our civilization might be entering into a death spiral. Uncontrolled global warming from the burning of fossil fuels leading to climate change will likely cause a massive “die out” from crop failures. This instability could trigger more wars including possibly nuclear ones as nations compete for dwindling natural resources.
I suspect that only a spiritual transformation on a massive scale will allow a course correction. Only the realization that we are one people on one homeland, the planet Earth, will empower us to establish the level of cooperation necessary to deal with the crises that are coming our way.
With the publication of “Beyond UFOs,” the spiritual transformations as the result of contact have been documented. Associated with their contacts, experiencers describe themselves as being more altruistic, more spiritual, but less religious, (following the doctrines of organized religion) more concerned about the environment and less on acquisition of material wealth, etc.
Disclosure will set the stage for the creation of massive social movements that can mobilize the Earth’s population on the basis of global and cosmic unity. Without Disclosure and the end of our ruling elites’ de facto program of ridicule and denial, our contact networks will never have the human and financial resources required to break out of the UFO subculture. This is necessary to build the kind of peace movements and struggles for social and environmental justice that will allow our civilization not only to survive but to thrive.

You can’t control a person who wants “no thing.” I suspect that Flying Saucer Intelligences are feared by our planet’s elites because they can’t be controlled by the usual methods applied to the general population. If we start to identify, not with things and thought forms, but rather with universal consciousness, then ultimately, we cannot be controlled either.
Professional science uses the scientific method to study the natural world. This involves carrying out repeated experiments under controlled conditions. There is nothing controllable about the physically and psychically advanced intelligences responsible for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Therefore, the scientific approach is not a good one. I suggest we follow the advice of UFO intelligence analyst Val Germann and employ a “counterintelligence” model to study UFOs.
Until 2017 the UFO subculture existed without broad popular support or well-organized groups calling for an end to the “UFO truth embargo.” This blog analyzes how the absence of leadership contributed to the subculture’s isolation. Fortunately, this situation is changing as organizations with experienced leaders are now emerging to create a broad social movement.
this is an important blog post indeed and its a question that’s been bothering me for a while. I started my own investigations into the subject of “UFOs” about twenty or so years ago. My own contact encounters began in 2012 (which is to say my first conscious recall of such things in my life as being definable as “extraterrestrial”). I’ve been an advocate in my own little way for Disclosure the whole time until about a year ago, when I lost faith in the whole concept. In short and to be blunt I reached a point and level of mistrust of institutions and government whereby I no longer care all that much what any of them have to say, on this subject or pretty much any other! I reached an understanding through observation that “government” is no more that a neat and tidy label for “legitimized crime syndication” and quite frankly, observing and listening as I do to the real politik of our world, am rapidly coming to the conclusion that pretty much the entire political class on Earth consists of immature souks who are not deep thinkers, do not have any meaningful spiritual insight and are essentially philosophical infants with all the sophistication of a house brick. So it is ironic that now here we sit on the edge of “Disclosure” and who do we have leading that process? A lunatic man-child and mid level mafia boss who can’t even pee straight and cannot be believed about anything he says and who should probably be locked up in a secure unit to protect himself and others. I’ve become profoundly disillusioned with the whole movement to be honest and especially with the kind of indifference I see within it in regard to an ongoing live streamed genocide and the emergence of a totalitarian global fascist superstate. So thank you Dr Burkes. You’ve given me something to chew on here. Something of substance.
Thank you Robert Blake for the thoughtful comment. I imagine that there are many contact experiencers who are recoiled by the state of the world and have lost faith that our institutions will “do the right thing” visa vie big D Disclosure and a host of other important issues. The current push by the Trump Administration to release some previously hidden information in my opinion is consistent with a political style that maximizes chaos, partly by design to keep political opponents off balance, as well as by his mental challenges. (I suspect the diagnoses of malignant narcissism and early dementia are accurate). Under a more stable administration, (Democratic or pre MAGA Republican) opening what for the ruling class is a kind of Pandora’s box would be deemed too risky. Trump appears to like to take political risks and so far, he has been very successful as evidenced by getting elected to President of the United States twice.
In discussing Disclosure and here I mean the full realization by Earth civilization of the reality and importance of non-human intelligences (NHIs) associated with all the Contact Modalities, we should understand there are two kinds. One is what the so-called authorities are willing to reveal given their understanding that contact threatens all terrestrial elites. The other Disclosure is in my view the more important one, at least in the long one. And that is what has been called by contact activist Kosta Makreas, “the People’s Disclosure.” This Disclosure encompasses the millions of interactions that people from all walks are having with a constellation of NHIs.
As a former peace and social justice activist from the 1960s through the 1980s, I have envisioned the creation of a worldwide social/spiritual movement that will link Contact to possible solutions for the fundamental challenges facing humanity. These are war, environmental pollution with resultant climate change, and the obscene disparities of wealth and power that exist across our wounded plant. Within this concept is the belief that in the long run, we have more in common with the NHI’s associated with the Contact Modalities, than that which separates us. This analysis is based on the premise that UAP NHIs are on a helping mission.
What I have briefly outlined is a possible plan for humanity that will unfold not over years or even decades, but more likely across several generations. But as the Chinese saying goes, “a journey of a thousand li (1/3 of a mile) must begin with a single step. Let us all dialogue further about this journey.
